This summer’s big fashion trend that we are truly loving is sneakers! So as spring falls upon us we will be seeing all types of different styles in stores. From slip-on’s to high tops you can except to find just what you are looking for. There’s a pair literally for everyone’s personal style from sporty to super girly and even very practical options. I’ve already gotten my first pair of summer must-have sneakers and I picked them up from Nine West!
It took me a couple walks around the store and comparisons before picking out Nine West’s BADABING sneakers. This year Nine West has a particularly wide selection of sneakers with different fabrics, silhouettes and colour options. Personally I opted for the black BADABING sneakers because I have decided to make them my go-to summer shoes. It was a difficult decision to make between all the other chic options. I had the hardest time picking between the black BADABING sneakers and the Pink lace BACHNEY sneakers (see my photo from in store below). If you’re looking to amp up your style any of the cut-out or lace options will do just the trick and they also come in slip-on silhouette options. You can wear also wear these sneakers in bare feet because these shoes will really let your feet breathe through the hot season. But you can also wear white socks or get crazy and wear colourful socks that can be seen through the floral cut out design.
These lace up shoes are made of a perforated leather cut out floral-like detail upper. The suede-like outer is paired with synthetic lining and a padded footbed for all day comfort. They are super comfortable for full day activities and they are embellished with a back zipper for easier access.
On Wednesday, I wore my new Nine West BADABING sneakers to the spring menu tasting at Porzia Parkdale as well as a couple drinks with a friend. I styled them for a more relaxed, laid-back look with my Silver Camden mid-rise skinny jeans with rips and lace in a light bleached blue with a tank top and leather jacket. I can’t wait until the weather gets warmer so I can pair these sneakers with skirts and shorts!
