Last week we visited Nine West on Bloor street for the launch of the new collection Nine West x InStyle Fall 2014 Capsule Collection. The new collection officially launched on August 8th in select stores in Toronto and across Canada as well as online and in all U.S. Boutiques, select stores in Turkey and the United Kingdom. The collaboration is a continuation of the most successful partnership to date for Nine West and represents the first editor-designed partnership bringing together insight from the fashion editor’s at InStyle and Nine West’s footwear and accessories experts.
Over wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres fashion lovers browsed, admired and shopped the new collection. The new collection has everything you need to update your fall wardrobe with the hottest shoes, bags and accessories. The collection has a variety of 6 different, sleek shoe designs, a satchel, a clutch and some fabulous accessories.
The shoes are absolutely impeccable, as almost every shoe you find in Nine West are. Each of the styles are super chic but unique in their own way. There’s the Killer Pump, The Tessa, a super sexy d’orsay style suede point toe pump with a 4″ heel very similar to last seasons pump but in new fabrics and colours. This season the Tessa was also revamped and updated for extended-wear comfort and style. I actually fell in love with the new collection of the Tessa pumps that I purchased on that evening and wore them the next night to TOM* (Toronto Men’s Fashion Week). The new Tessa pumps come in natural multi calf hair, and four different colour options for the suede: wine, dark green, navy and black for just $110 in stores in online.
The next shoe that’s getting a lot of buzz in the fashion world are the Jaiden booties, a super stylish lace-up cut out bootie with back zipper with a heel of 3.5″. These chic shoes have been seen all over Instagram and Twitter as all the bloggers and fashion goers are swooning over the edgy design, and who doesn’t love a great bootie? Spice up your fall look with these bad boys that retail at a great price of just $150. They come in a selection very similar to the Tessa pumps.
Dubbed the “New Work shoe”, the new Cate point toe pump with ankle strap and zipper back are chic enough to take to the office or out on the town for a couple drinks. For a steal of just $110, bring your confidence up 3.5″ with these fashion forward heels that are available in 6 different colour/print options. The one that especially catches peoples attention are the natural multi calf hair that’s in a beautiful leopard print.
Even in the fall the need for a sexy sandal is always thriving, so of course Nine West and InStyle did not forget about adding a pair that are so fabulous you will have the urge to try and wear them right through until spring. The Elia sandals are perfectly designed with full heel support and the iconic Mary Jane strap over instep and are only $125.
As we all go to pull out our leathers in fall we need a staple go-to shoe that withstand harsher weathers. For the fall collection Nine West and InStyle have designed two leather options that you can wear to the office or to complete those edgier weekend looks. The two leather options are the Avery point toe flat that’s embellished with a side zipper and the Clio booties that also have a side zipper.
Lastly, the finishing touches! The perfect outfit does start with the clothing and of course the shoes, but it is complete with jewelry or a bag or both. So with the new variety of shoes Nine West x InStyle Fall 2014 also offer knot collar necklaces and bangles as well as two bag style options. The bags include the leather clutch, perfect for parties or city walks as well as the leather satchel that is absolutely perfect to carry to the office, or generally anywhere where you need to carry more things with you.
